Design Innovation Talks Architect DE
Chapter IAbout
Designing today, building tomorrow
What if the architecture of tomorrow were no longer just about building… but about a dialogue with climate and data?
About
Archi. MBA. MSp. PhD (c)
Architect DE, I founded ZAIM Architecture in Casablanca on one conviction: a building can no longer be judged on its looks alone.
It has to be comfortable, sustainable and intelligent, able to interact with its climate and with data. Arab architecture has always impressed me with its harmony with the local climate: that is the accuracy I try to carry forward, with today’s tools.
My approach starts with design: understanding the place, the use and the climate before drawing. Innovation then serves it, from the digital model to virtual tours, so that everyone can picture the project before it is built.
And because innovation feeds on sharing, I teach: in universities, in schools and with the orders of architects, wherever the transformation of the sector is being discussed.
Based in Morocco, I give talks in Fès and Dakhla. I work in four languages.
